We invite you to our annual exhibition of landscape paintings by some of the best local artists, all painted en plein air here in Louisiana during the current year.

WHAT
Our annual exhibit (20th year) of 75+ recent paintings of Louisiana landscapes by local artists made on location en plein air (out in the open air).

Abita Springs architect and collector Ron Blitch oversees an exceptional exhibition of brand new work, some of it so new that it's still wet when we hang it. All paintings are available for purchase with 30% going towards support of programs at the Trailhead Museum.

Opening reception 2019
WHEN & WHERE
April 10th -12th, 2026
The opening reception is 5-8pm on Friday, April 10th. There will be plenty of food, wine, and Abita beer. It is free and the public is invited.
The exhibition is open 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. 11am-7pm on Sunday, the Abita Springs Busker Festival will be happening right outside our front door. Come join the fun.
At the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum, 22044 Main Street in Abita Springs Park next to the Abita Brew Pub along the Tammany Trace.
